The Sweet By and By Review
Sara Evans has partnered with Rachel Hauck to write a very moving fictional story about a girl and her mother. It is a very quick read but don’t take an easy read to mean less depth. The character development is phenomenal! I am not really a Sara Evans fan – there is only one song of her that I actually like – but this book is so moving and true to life’s hardships in relationships I couldn’t help but be a fan.
Jade is the main character and this book centers around the time when she was getting married and she had to face her past and restore relationships. I was moved to tears in parts – maybe I am just emotional but it was a very good book!
There is a second book and I can’t wait to read it! Hauck and Evans make a wonderful writing team and Jada’s life really intrigues me. The ups and downs of life in Tennessee – I totally recommend this book to anyone wanting a good fast read!
