Applecheeks pocket diapers are adorable and fit David perfectly!  As far as being Daddy friendly they are tops – as long as he doesn’t have to do the stuffing. But we will get to what he think later on in the videos.

What do I think?

I am a huge fan of natural fibers so the bamboo inserts are a huge plus.  I mostly like the inserts being flat pieces of cloth – I mean this allows for me to fold it however I want to get the most absorbency.  But there I also really like how easy it is to stuff a pocket super fast when they are prefolded.

The envelope opening inside the diaper is also one of my favorite features. There are pocket diapers where I will notice the insert peeking out the top and with this system that will never happen (unless you leave the insert hanging out halfway, in which case it is your own fault).

I would totally go for these diapers again. They are super cute and since they are sized I think Josh liked that more – he wasn’t as overwhelmed by the sheer number of buttons on the front.

One more thing I really can’t wait for – prints! I would love to see more pocket diapers made in prints. I know there are diaper makers out there that do that (like Nifty Nappy) and I really wish more would too.  Even though these do not have prints, the color of the AppleCheeks diapers are so vivid they make me happy to put them on Bubs!

I was also sent the Storage Sac in size 1 which is a wetbag perfectly sized to fit in my diaper bag.  It has drawstrings but thankfully didn’t get all caught in my washing machine agitator.  I love the color and size – and since it is a drawstring it can “breathe” and it doesn’t stink nearly as bad as the wetbags with a zipper.  However, if my wetbags do get a tiny stink, like if I am out and about all day, a sprinkle of Rockin Green pail deoderizer works great!)

They also sent some cloth wipes for me and these are a very generous size! They fill up my entire hand at 8x8inches and using them this size might bring me back to using cloth wipes again! See, I made my own and the ones I made (since I just serged up scraps of flannel) were like 3x3ish and I thought disposable wipes were easier for some strange reason.  But these are nice!

Illana and Amy are a couple WAHMs that also make stylish wraps called “Azure Wraps.” They only have 2 prints available and both are 42% off at $32 USD!  These really are super cute – I am sure I can convince Josh we need another wrap somehow.
