Babies R Us brand infant care products

I wish I lived near a Babies R Us. What a wonderful store! Now they are offering a way for their shoppers to save even more money by carrying their own generic Babies R Us brand of infant care products including formula. Sure, Pampers and Huggies and other name brand baby wipes and diapers work great but why pay extra when generic is just as good? I am honestly kinda shocked that Babie R Us hasn’t had their own generic brand until now. I really enjoy saving money buy buying generic from Target, Wal-Mart and Dillons. In fact I only ever buy name brand products if I have a coupon and there is a sale going on.
The closest Babies R Us store to me is 45 minutes away. That is what I get for living in backwoods Kansas I guess. But I have lots of friends that live closer to a Babies R Us that just had a child and can definitely benefit from the cheaper prices that generic products bring. Heck, when registering for gifts I’d scan the generic stuff too, maybe you can get twice as much product from someone at a baby shower that way!
And these new products also hit the shelves at Toys R Us late last year. They are much cheaper than name brand items of the same quality – up to 50 per cent less expensive! So when looking at baby wipes, would I want to spend $10 or $5? That is so easy – go generic! There are times when the cheaper baby wipes have proven to be of less quality and I ended up using more of them, thus spending the same amount. I sure hope this isn’t the case with the Babies R Us and Toys R Us infant care line. I have grown to respect that store as being high quality – they are the only place close to me that carries my favorite type of car seat, the Safety First Air Protect – so I know they are a great store.
My thoughts are – it is about time! I love generic products and I am so glad I can look forward to saving so much money with these stores.

I only buy generics most of the time, too. Our closest Babies r us is about 35 miles away, but we make the trip at the beginning of each month because with their in-store coupons, many things come out to be much cheaper. We just got coupons through email yesterday for a $10 gift card if you spend $50 in formula (which is very easy to do when your baby is on alimentum!) and a coupon for their own baby detergent. I didn’t even know that had that so, I can’t wait to give it a try! We love our babies r us.
