Milk Nursingwear Review

by Annie @ Mama Dweeb on June 15, 2011

Normally, breastfeeding and wearing a dress are two things that are not accomplished easily.  I have tried wear V-necks with tank tops and buying shirt dresses, but it is just so much easier to wear skirts and shirts. That is why I was thrilled when I found Milk Nursingwear! I wanted to tell everyone about these cute clothes that allow you to nurse discreetly. I was so excited, in face, that I modeled them for you.

I am 5’4 and 145 lbs.  Normally I purchase a size medium, but this dress (name of dress) is a size small. I love the pretty plum color. And it hangs so comfortably. It is made of soft jersey cotton. It makes the perfect summer dress.

As you can see, you lift up the top and baby has access to food.  Depending on where someone is standing, they might get a teeny peek of skin, but normally this dress allows for total privacy. The only thing I noticed is that when I wore my Bravado nursing bra, this dress was so low cut in the back almost my entire bra was showing.  I took off my bra and still had quite a bit of support, but I am not “overly blessed” either. Underneath there is elastic, not a thicker bra, so support for larger chested women might be different than me.  This dress also holds my nursing pads in place too, so I do not need to wear a bra with it. Which is fabulous in the summer heat!

I am so comfy in this dress that I am going to wear it when I fly from Kansas to North Carolina with my 6 month old. Babies are always so much happier if they can nurse while flying (it helps with their ears and the pressure).  And I don’t want to have to fiddle with a shirt, a tank and a nursing bra. This will be amazing!

Win It!

One lucky MamaDweeb reader will win an item of their choice from the Milk NursingWear store!

I received the dress to review. All opinions are 100% mine.
