My head whirled! What a year! I think my children grew more this year than any year before. What have you missed? I am here to recap my favorite highlights from this past year – and in 200 words!

In January, I admitted that I gave up cloth diapers.  So shocking! Lucy continued to grow from baby to toddler and turned 2 years old!

In February I tried to put blue streaks in my hair. It lasted a few weeks before it washed out.  Then I wrote a fabulous post about weekly blog memes organized by day. (If you want to add one, please go and comment!)

In April my baby boy turned three years old! (so precious!)

I flew to Chicago with Verizon and Atlanta with Coca-Cola in May, so I didn’t write about my 6 year wedding anniversary! Ooops! But when Lizzie turned 5, I definitely blogged. We road tripped on a family camp out, enjoyed fireworks and I saw NYC for the first time!

Fall: I won an award for my #SurviveOn35 post! We dressed up for Halloween, over ate at Thanksgiving, and had a lovely Christmas!

And my favorite, most delicious recipe of the year? Hot German Potato Salad with Bacon!

~~~~~~~~~~~
And that, my friends is 2012 in 200 words!
How was your year? I know there is a ton more I could have said, those are just the highlights. I linked up with J0-Lynne, so if you want to find other blogs to read, go hop around!
HAPPY 2013 everyone! It is going to be an amazing year!!
What a fabulous, eventful year! It’s incredible how quickly our children grow… and how quickly they seem to make the time go! Hope your 2013 is full of blessings. Happy New Year!
Thank you Melissa! Yes, my children just sprouted so fast this year! Seems like this year flew faster than last year.
Blue streaks in your hair? AWESOME. I told my husband that I wanted a pink streak and he told me that I was too old LMAO.
you should do the pink streak! It is just one streak, and not like it is your entire head LOL Plus, it is so much fun!
Sounds like you had a good year…Wishing you even better 2013! :) I am really afraid of doing all sorts of summing-up and finding my highlights…So maybe I will do it, but when I am ready, not when the year tells me it’s gonna end in 1 day! :)
Happy New Year! I was about to give up cloth diapering until I finally decided to try out a wool cover. Back in the game now! I hope a leaky experience doesn’t keep you from trying other green things in the house.
I used to LOVE wool! It was awesome for overnights! My biggest issue was the stink. I have the hardest water ever (well water, no softener) and didn’t have stink issues till she became a toddler. Toddler pee is really different from baby pee. I don’t get it.
But we do try to be green in so many other areas! We have our own free range chickens, we garden our own veggies organically, I have reusable grocery bags, and if it wasn’t a 30 minute drive to the nearest recycling center I’d do a LOT more recycling. That is my 2013 resolution – try to set up a system so I recycle more. (I’m on 20 acres of land, town is FAR away LOL)
Thanks for stopping by!
