Giving gifts is tough. For that hard-to-buy-for friend or family member, I usually try and find them a gift card to their favorite place. But then I have people that I seriously do not know where they want to spend the money at.  Like my daughter’s teacher. I don’t know  her very well…so I’d rather give her something that can literally be spent anywhere, but isn’t regulated to places that only accept VISA, and I really don’t like giving cash or checks.

Gift Rocket is so easy to use and keeps the thoughtfulness in giving cash!  You purchase a Gift Rocket gift card from them from any amount. Then, you can either have the card e-mailed or you can print it out and give it in person. The recipient chooses how to accept the funds from Gift Rocket – either via direct deposit to their bank, paypal, credit card, or even check in the mail.  You keep the thoughtfulness in the gift, you can write “enjoy a night out with your husband” and they can choose where they go.

Best of both worlds.

Is there a fee to use Gift Rocket?

Yes. If you make your purchase with a credit or debit card, there is a fee of $2 + 5% of the gift amount. If you make your purchase directly from your bank account, the fee is $2 for gifts below $100 and $4 otherwise. Which in my opinion is totally reasonable.

How would you like to win $50 from Giftrocket? Go enter on the rafflecopter form below! Hurry, it ends on 2/22!

Disclosure: I received a gift card from Giftrocket. All opinions are 100% my own.
