This looks like it is going to be a huge hit – a family friendly 3D animated movie! Escape From Planet Earth takes place on the planet Baab. Astronaut Scorch Supernova (Brendan Fraser) is popular and looked up to for his personality and talent. He is a national hero to the blue alien population. I am really excited to hear Brendan’s voice again, it is been awhile since he has made a movie. Well, Scorch is awesome at stunts and crazy rescues – but he doesn’t work alone! He has help from his nerdy and rule-abiding brother Gary (Rob Corddry) who also happens to be head of mission control at BASA.

Here is where it gets good: When BASA’s chief (Jessica Alba – yay!) tells the brothers about an SOS from a dangerous planet, Scorch doesn’t listen to his brother’s warnings! Of course he finds himself in a horrible predicament – and it is all a trap by the evil Shanker – voiced by William Shatner! Then, the scrawny brother comes to the rescue!
