MacLarry Stinky Cheese Battle

The new release from Veggie Tales – MacLarry and the Stinky Cheese Battle – takes children on an adventure to Scotland!  It was released with a very timely message right as children are going back to school and dealing with all kinds of social situations.  MacLarry & The Stinky Cheese Battle teaches children how to get along, how to solve disagreements, and the value of understanding. I received a copy of this DVD so I can review it for you and give it away to two of my readers. All opinions are my own.

Synopsis

In true Veggie Tales fashion, they tell a story about two feuding clans, but with innocent mischief instead of violence. Larry the Cucumber plays “MacLarry” – a young boy that just enjoys making silly gadgets. You watch as he tries to learn from the best prankster of them all, his father “Chog Norrious” and yet cannot learn the art. Poor MacLarry leaves his clan to find the best inventor of them all – Archie-Medes.  While he is away, the two clans continue to feud and the pranks escalate to a battle. Chog’s clan plans the biggest prank ever – release stinky cheese into the land of their rival clan! That is when they realize they need MacLarry’s God-given gifts to help solve this situation and bring peace to the land.

Silly songs, happy values, beautiful illustrations, everything I love about Veggie Tales and a fabulous (and timely) addition to your collection! My kids and I loved it and I know yours will too!

My kids love veggie tales! And honestly, so do I! I went to a Christian high school and our bible teacher incorporated these movies into her lesson plans. Even though she knew we were “too old” for them! We enjoyed singing a long….especially to the opening number! Broccoli, celery, gotta be….veggie tales!
