I asked my friends to help me with this post and they did not disappoint! Since crafts are one thing I have yet to master, I am constantly scouring Pinterest for ideas. Thankfully, my blog friends are much more talented than I and they have some fabulous DIY craft ideas for kids.
I can’t wait to hear which is YOUR favorite!

This craft is so simple even I can make it! I love how it takes virtually no time at all – my kids don’t have a whole lot of patience.
Now this is just genius. I never would have thought to use water and sharpies on a t-shirt like this. I love the effects it makes.
This DIY project is one that is definitely far more advanced than any of the others. I chose it because in the midst of all the markers and egg cartons, sometimes I want a project that is for me. And this post has excellent advice for tiling and grouting. I think she did a lovely job!
These DIY colored mason jars are such an easy way to bring vibrancy to a snowy, white day. And the directions on Sippy Cup Mom are so easy I bet my 6 year old can do them.
Every winter I dream of sunny Orlando! I wish I had a Disney vacation to count down to. However, this craft can be so easily customized to whatever you are counting down. (Today is January, so putting a heart in the middle can let you count down to Valentine’s Day)
Burlap is a fall/winter fabric – so very thick and warm. I love the texture of it. Becca’s tutorial shares how to achieve that unique look.
This is a beautiful handmade canvas print. I love how Hanan ties the hearts with a simple ribbon. This can be a lovely way to remember family members that live across the country.
This is another project that is so simple even I can do it! I bet that this time of year, these will double as squirrel feeders!
Mindi’s Superhero mask tutorial includes a free printable pattern. If you have a sewing machine you can access easily (I do not) then this is a fabulous one! Go to her blog and pin it for sure!
What I love most about this craft is how long it will keep my small children entertained after we make the sticks! You can then attach and unattach the sticks and make any number of shapes and designs with the velcro. Such a wonderful idea!
Carrie’s idea to create her own photo-on-canvas is wonderful! In fact, she has inspired me to stock up on my Modge-Podge and roller brushes so I can create some lovely art.
