Living out in the country, I have dead zones in my house. How do you call the doctor or a family member with important news when the call keeps getting dropped? “Hi, it’s me again. Sorry, lost signal there. I’m outside in the cold now, so let’s make this quick. At least you can hear me!”
There has to be a better way. And there is. Finally!
Panasonic has the answer! They have a new handset that links via bluetooth to your cell phone. You don’t have to have a landline for this to work! Then, you can connect via bluetooth and use your cell phone’s “line” to speak on your handset.
Panasonic sent me this telephone for the review and I am sharing my experience with you.
Another two instances this technology can really be awesome
1) When your kids insist on playing Minion rush and they don’t want to give it up for you to answer an incoming call. They can play and I can answer my call.
2) When your phone’s battery is, like, totally wiped out from your full day of email/instagram/twitter/Facebook and attached to the wall. You can still make and answer calls anywhere in the house while it charges.
So as you can see, Panasonic is really pretty awesome. Don’t you agree? I mean, you don’t even need a landline for this to work!
What is Panasonic’s Link2Cell?
Link2Cell harnesses the power of Bluetooth® to combine the freedom of your cell phone with the convenience of a home phone. Panasonic Link2Cell is a cordless phone system that operates together with your cell phone, allowing you to make and receive cell phone calls though the multi-handset home phone with Panasonic’s unique Bluetooth-powered Panasonic Link-to-Cell.
Check out that display! It is easy to read with large lettering, buttons and backlight. This phone comes fully loaded with features I didn’t even know existed. For example, the Bluetooth technology. You pair the Panasonic phone with your cell phone and you can use the telephone to hear all your cell phone calls. I will never miss a call at home again! My cell phone now rings through the Panasonic phone and I can actually hear it! When dialing, I have the option to make the call through my cell phone with the touch of a button.
You can access voicemail or the answering machine via handset. The phone can be used as an intercom and/or transfer calls between the handsets and the base. I like speakerphone and buttons built into the base with the capability to do conference calls. This phone even announces who is calling through talking caller ID. It also has a call block feature and a timed silent mode. Every night my phone will stop ringing at 10pm and resume rings at 7am! This phone has everything you could need for at home or office use! It even has an alarm clock! They certainly didn’t skip any features on this phone. It’s even compatible with hearing aids.
It works perfect, just like you imagine it would! No more dropped calls and crystal clear sound! You can read more about this phone and buy one for yourself on the Panasonic site. It’s the Link2Cell KX-TG7742S telephone. (link shop.panasonic.com/landing/phonedeals)
