I am pumped to be working with Name.Kitchen on another post about successful online branding. Again, while this is a sponsored post, all opinions in it are 100% my own.
When starting a small business, it is all about the branding. Heck, when growing a small business 10 years later it is still all about the branding. When people begin remembering your brand in the myriad of others, you are successfully accomplishing one of your top marketing goals.
One of my favorite ways to grow my brand is to see how others are doing it. I love gaining inspiration from other bloggers and online marketers. So to help you in your small business marketing goals, I compiled 3 super trendy and different companies that are using not-com URLs to brand and market their businesses.
Don’t forget – you can brainstorm your own not-com URL on Name.Kitchen. They have fabulous naming tools that will show you what is available and even populate more ideas you might not have considered. So check out Name.Kitchen and claim your name today!
I hope these small biz owners can help inspire you to keep reaching for the stars. Being an entrepreneur can be so challenging, but so worth it when you begin seeing your dreams come to life.
3 Trendy Small Businesses Using Not-Com URLs To Skyrocket Their Brand
Owners: Suyog Mody and Anu Menon, Brooklyn, NY.
Business: DriftAway Coffee – A coffee subscription service.
Why This Branding Rocks: The name matches the business. When I hold a cup of coffee in my hands, my mind seriously does “drift away.” This also implies the coffee drifts away from their New York home to yours. So how perfect was it that they were able to snag the .coffee extension?

Art Of Fitness
Owner: Ron Betta, Orlando, Florida.
Business: Art Of Fitness
Why This Branding Rocks: Ron Betta knows there are a ton of other fitness lovers trying to make a living at personal training. He had to stand out. So he took is passion for art (he has worked on 3 Disney films) and fused that with his personal training. I seriously love the name because it is just different enough to make me pause and go, “So what is the art of fitness? Is there more to it than just running and weights?” He is more than just a fitness coach, he inspires people to love their bodies, and that is all wrapped in his branding.

Owners: Ali Leipzig and Michelle Goldblum, New York, NY.
Business: Soul Camp
Why This Branding Rocks: How can you not know what this is just from the name? What you might not know, is that while it is a camp, it is an adult-only sleep-way camp. I love it when an entrepreneur takes something from their childhood and makes it a reality for adults and Ali & Michelle did just that.
Read More: Read about why Ali & Michelle named their camp Soul Camp (that now has 2 locations, one in PA and one in CA) and how their not-com URL has really pumped up their branding.
