The best food storage containers I have used in a very long time are the BRILLIANCE set from Rubbermaid. I was skeptical when I agreed to review the set. I’ve used Rubbermaid before and all of them were ok. But nothing to write home about, ya know?
Then I used this set and I was honestly impressed! I used it in the refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. I put it to the test in every way possible – and it has lasted through it all.
Following are my favorite things about the BRILLIANCE Rubbermaid food storage set. At the end of this post, you can enter to win a 10-piece set!
I stored fresh waffles in the larger container for an entire week. The seal on the container was so effective, that I didn’t see any freezer burn on the waffles a week later.
And with the easy-open lids, I was able to open the container, even after it was in the freezer for so long, all without defrosting it.
Variety of Sizes
The 10 piece set has every size I need. I used the 2 small sizes for my husband’s work lunches, the 2 medium sizes for dinner leftovers and the large size for freezing homemade waffles.
I am so used to other seals that are either difficult to put on correctly (especially after the plastic lid bends out of shape or cracks) or take off. This is neither – and the seal is impeccable. They are leak-proof. Check out this little gif I made of the containers with water in them. No leaks.
But even better? The lids have latches! You can see with your eyes if the lid is on securely. No more guessing, picking up the container, and the lid just popping off.
For only $17.99 and free Prime shipping, you can purchase the 10 piece set on Amazon. This is an incredibly low price for how long it will last and how much you will use it.
Congrats Kelly! Thank you all for entering!
