I am a lifelong Kansan, living on 20 acres with a dog and a cat.
I am a Christian radio DJ, avid reader (when I have time) and madly in love with words.
The two words that sum me up are: writer and friend. If a day goes by that I do not write, I feel empty.
Connecting online about topics such as parenting, food, fashion and entertainment is one of the most fun parts of my job as a blogger.

Josh is my amazing hard working husband. He is an all around fix it man, but even better he is a lover of squirrels, fan of the Force, and a hater of flies.
Lizzie Lou was born in June 2007. My princess and ballet loving girl, she is an avid fan of Go Diego, Cinderella and the Little Mermaid.
She loves frogs but is scared to death of ants and any time of day you can hear her singing.
David is my my baby boy born April 09! He is much easier to make giggle than his sister. Full of smiles and easily self-entertained. He loves car rides and laughing with his sister. To say he is a fan of Spiderman is an understatement, he will have a broken heart if he can’t wear his red cape every day.
Lucy was born December 14th, 2010. She is doted on by her older sister and loved immensely by me and Josh. She has a spirit of adventure and is constantly doing what her brother and sister are doing.
Yup, 3 kids in 5 years of marriage – we are a fun loving family, with more laughs than any family deserves!

Love your site!! I did clothe diapers for my first 4 children. Decided to go pampers all the way for my 5th. Now that I just had my 6th child I am toying with the idea of going back to cloth. My favorite cloth diapers were ones that had little frogs all over.
This is an awesome site! I am mommanerd…a blog site that I just started about 2.5 weeks ago. You have a gorgeous family!

That is awesome. My Greek husband would especially be jealous of the goats–he used to have one as a pet before his greek mamma served it for Easter dinner.

I am a 26 year old Christian who recently moved to Dallas and am starting up my own business — baby planning & night nannying!
